Jump Steady, where should we start? He has been around just as long as ICP has, considering he is Violent J’s brother. Back in the early 1990's, Rob was in Operation Desert Storm (Gulf War) and his brother was in need of money to get his carear started. So Rob would mail money home as often as he could just to help his brother Joe get a start in his rap carear. After the ware ended, Rob came home and imediatly took role as one of the cheif members of Psychopathic Records. Jump Steady made his first appearance in 1992 on ICP’s album Carnival of Carnage on the song Taste. This was fresh as fuck and Ninjas were begging for more.

In the Tunnel of Love booklet, a Jump Steady album was advertised. This album was called “Chaos Theory.” Now, this was back in the year 1996. Word of the album was never heard of again. But, Jump Steady’s name has always been around in songs like “Who Asked You?” and “Hokus Pokus.” He was even in ICP’s full length movie, Big Money Hustlas. Ninjas nagged at Psychopathic about his album never being released.

While staying behind the scenes, taking on tasks such as organizing the anual Gatherings, booking tours, promoting music from Psychopathic. Rob felt he had broken his promise to the juggalos, a promise broken for to long. After what was deemed a album never to be released, Psychopathic finally told the Juggalos and Juggalettes that it was finally going to be released in 2002. Before the release though, Jump wrote an intro to the song “Take Me Home” which can be found on ICP’s album Forgotten Freshness: Volume 3. Another song on Forgotten Freshness features Jump Steady. This song is “The Family Song” where you can hear his wife, Nancy (Myzery’s sister) and his daughter, Samantha.

The day was July 19, 2002… the first day of the Gathering of the Juggalos 2002. Jump Steady’s “Chaos Theory” CD was finally released and shocked all of the ninjas. The CD was devastating. Special guests contained ICP, Twiztid, Blaze, ABK, Samantha, Syn, and even the legendary Legz Diamond!

Where will Jump Steady’s career go? Who knows? We all just hope he continues producing albums and intros to songs such as “The Eulogy.” It will be great to see where his album will lead him. But trust me; there will be no stopping Jump Steady or any of the Psychopathic Ninjas.

Dark Lotus Bio
Dark Lotus, the ultra Psychopathic line up… The story behind Dark Lotus is just as complicated as any other. Back in 1998 when Twiztid signed with Psychopathic Records, the word of a Dark Lotus group emerged. The group was Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, Monoxide Child, and Jamie Madrox. The devastating group was set to release the album “Tales From the Lotus Pod” in late 2000.

In 1999, Insane Clown Posse released their album, The Amazing Jeckel Brothers. Track sixteen was the door-opener for Dark Lotus. The song was “Echo Side” and it was Dark Lotus’s first appearance and single. The next year, a single CD was pressed and released for a day locally in Detroit. This CD single was the same that debuted on the Amazing Jeckel Brothers album.

The word of Dark Lotus grew more and more and the line up fell more into play. There was expected to be six pedals (members) to the lotus. In 2000, Blaze was announced to be the fifth member. The sixth member was yet to be released. In late 2000 or early 2001, Blaze left Psychopathic due to money issues. Esham the Unholy was to replace Blaze on Dark Lotus.

Later in 2001, Blaze came back to Psychopathic and Esham was booted. Some new tracks were created and Anybody Killa was speculated to be the sixth member due to his appearance in the Dark Lotus song “Drunken Ninja Master” which can be found on Twiztid’s Cryptic Collection 2 CD. Most of the recorded tracks were scrapped.

In 2001, ICP kicked off their Bizzar Bizaar Tour with opening act, Marz. Once J heard him, he knew Marz had to be in Dark Lotus. Right then and there, Marz was announced to be the sixth member of Dark Lotus. This was a big surprise to the Juggalos because no one knew who the fuck Marz was. Regardless, they released “Tales From the Lotus Pod” at the 2001 Gathering of the Juggalos.

In 2002, Anybody Killa was signed to Psychopathic Records (finally). Psychopathic said “Let’s revise Tales From the Lotus Pod and put Anybody Killa in instead of Marz.” With this quickness, this was done and released at the 2002 Gathering of the Juggalos. So all in all, the Lotus pedals are Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, Monoxide Child, Jamie Madrox, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and Anybody Killa!

In 1999, Psychopathic had an idea to make a thugged out rap group as a side project. All about hos and money. The group was to be named Psychopathic Rydas respectively. Members consisted of Full Clip (Shaggy 2 Dope), Lil’ Shank (Jamie Madrox) Twin Gats (Myzery), Foe Foe (Monoxide Child), Bullet (Violent J), and Cell Block (Blaze). Their first release was Dumpin’ which at first was only attainable if you got the hotline number from the quiz in the Amazing Jeckel Brothers album booklet.

All of the Rydas beats are stolen. From Ice Cube to Shaggy (Mr. Boombostic), Rydas stole every last beat. To avoid law suites, ICP created a second album label Joe and Joey Records. If Rydas ever got caught jackin’ beats, ICP would drop the label and lose no money.

In 2000, Myzery left Psychopathic Records and that was the end of Twin Gats in Psychopathic Rydas. People thought that it would weaken the Rydas, think again. At the 2001 Gathering of the Juggalos, Rydas released their second LP “Ryden Dirtay.” The album was devastating and even better than the first album. There is also a special guest on the CD. One of our favorite suburban thugs, Lil’ Poot!

There is speculation that Rydas will have a sixth member named Sawed Off (Anybody Killa) in the future. This would be the shit because ABK is a rapper at heart and Rydas could definitely use a sixth person to fill Myzery’s old spot.
